Vereniging Montium

Vereniging Montium, opgericht in juni 2015 in het prachtige Utrecht, is dé vereniging voor iedereen met interesse in de Koerdische regio en het Midden-Oosten. Geïnteresseerden, met name studenten en young professionals, kunnen zich aansluiten om deel te nemen aan een rijke variatie van activiteiten. Naast periodieke borrels worden er met regelmaat interessante events georganiseerd, uiteenlopend van culturele workshops tot actuele debatten. Voor meer diepgang in de gebeurtenissen in de regio kan men terecht bij de symposia, waar sprekers samen met bezoekers onderwerpen in perspectief zullen brengen. Ook staan er voor de toekomst ambitieuze activiteiten gepland, zoals het organiseren van uitwisselingen tussen Nederland en de Koerdische regio om een interactie van kennis te bevorderen. Montium, founded in June 2015 in the beautiful Dutch city of Utrecht, is the Dutch association for students and young professionals with an interest in the Middle East and the Kurdish region in particular. Anyone interested in the region is welcome to join and participate in a rich variety of activities. The association hosts interesting events on a regular basis varying from cultural workshops to debates covering current issues. During the symposia, which offer deeper insights into relevant topics, speakers engage the audience in their analysis through lively debates. Future plans include activities such as trips to the Kurdish area, which aim to encourage the exchange of knowledge between the areas.
