Veritas Fire Engineering, Inc. specializes in consulting on the fire protection aspects of building design, code review and comparison, design of fire systems, and risk analysis. Our staff includes trained and experienced personnel in all areas of fire protection with degrees and Professional Engineering licenses in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, and Chemical Engineering and certifications in Automatic Sprinkler System Layout, Fire Alarm Systems, and Special Hazards Suppression Systems. Our company began business in 1994 as Scandaliato Design Group. In 2008 we became a women-owned small business and changed our name to Veritas Fire Engineering, Inc. Our goal is to provide a high level of technical expertise to Architects, Engineers, Building Officials, Fire Departments, and Building Owners. We are committed to customer service, which includes sensitivity towards cost concerns, alternative solutions, concern for historic and cultural significance, LEED certification, and maintenance considerations. We are very active in the code development process and in local and national fire protection organizations. Examples include memberships on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) committees, the Technical Advisory Committee of the American Fire Sprinkler Association, the Denver Building Code Committee, and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
