The Vernakular Store is a retail concept themed around a modern and progressive lifestyle. The store specialises in watches as we believe organisation is the first rule for progress and timing instruments are the greatest of organisational tools. There is a diverse range of lifestyle brands on offer both in-store and online, some of which are exclusive to the store. The store is located in KL’s most cosmopolitan suburb, Bangsar and comprises of a watch library, coffee bar & art-book shop. The Watch Library promotes alternative timepieces curated from around the globe. The brands are selected for their creative, often artful designs combined with a high-quality finishing. Vernakular is a brand that takes its name from the English word ‘Vernacular’, meaning to draw influence from distinct tones of local culture & dialect. ‘Vernakular’ alludes to a culture of progress – it is a symbol of where we are today, where we have come from and where we are going.
