VMG was founded in 2008 by its owner, Tracey Singleton. Tracey has a Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management (BTHM) from Mount Saint Vincent University and brings over 15 years of experience in the tourism & hospitality industry. As the former Director of Marketing, Sales & Cruise Ship Development for Tourism Charlottetown, Tracey was integral to the success and growth of the Festival of Lights and Jack Frost Children’s WinterFest. She was also the visionary behind Fall Flavours and was instrumental to developing cruise for Prince Edward Island. During her years with Tourism Charlottetown, it was an ongoing challenge to find dynamic individuals that could jump in when extra help was needed. She was looking for self-starters; people with experience and the ability to work independently on projects. Her cyclical project challenges led to the creation of Versatile Management Group (VMG). Tracey identified the need for experienced project managers that can work on a contract basis without the typical consulting fees. People who are versatile, with the ability to tackle many different projects. An entrepreneur by nature, Tracey is also the co-owner of PropertyGuys.com Prince Edward Island. In addition to sharing office space, VMG provides ongoing marketing and communication services to PropertyGuys.com Versatile specializes in marketing, PR & communications, concept development, conference & event management and overall project management.
