Keeping food fresh, safe and appealing is the ultimate goal of any food manufacturer. At Versatile Packaging we have an extensive food production background which gives us a passion for researching and developing new innovative processes and products. Recent developments have promoted greater attention to food packaging and the potential to extend the shelf life of food products has many advantages from producer, all the way to consumer. Extending the Shelf Life of food products means there is less food wastage, logistics are easier (long distance shipment, less frequent supplies etc.), and it also contributes to product safety and product image. Our research partnership with UCC means that we may be able to offer existing and new customers a new food packaging concept. Extending Shelf Life for food products will also have an impact on the environment by reducing food wastage.
