Vertical Method
Vertical Method couples patent protected equipment (Posture-Pull) with an exercise method that's proven to eliminate tech posture atrophy (TPA). Back pain is a billion dollar industry. Low back pain among the young and fit is common since binge sitting creates significant weakness and atrophy in lumbar extensor muscles. The nucleus of VM is a static core endurance workout utilizing the Posture-Pull for standing proprioceptive feedback. Each exercise maximizes the posture benefits of Pilates, strength-training, gyrokinesis, yoga and barre. The workout pinpoints the root cause of hip, back and shoulder dysfunction associated with desk jobs. From my San Francisco studio we cracked the code to reversing tech neck and slouching in tech employees. In 2020 I created UnDeskMe! in response to Covid-19 and the closure of my studio. Answering the call for conference work and online programing I continually modify UnDeskMe for a growing, and slouching, global market.
