VERTUA formerly operated as OPTIMUM BUSINESS STRATEGIES CONSULTING GROUP INC.(OPTIMUM GROUP) from 2009 until 2015. Vertua offers a full range of legal and business consulting services for investing and setting up a business in the Philippines. For foreign start up companies, we also offer serviced offices and virtual offices. Our lawyers provide business assistance to help our clients decide on the proper company set up for them, whether a 100% foreign owned/F100 corporation, Representative Office, Domestic Corporation (Subsidiary or Affiliate), Regional Headquarters (RHQ) or Regional Operating Headquarters (RHOQ) or some other company set up. We also represent clients in trademark cases with the Bureau of Legal Affairs (BLA) of the Intellectual Property Office (IPO). We assist companies come up with labor standards in compliance with current labor laws, such as but not limited to drafting to the Employee Labor Standards Manual, drafting of mandatory labor memos and forms, and holding of labor standards seminars for our clients. We also represent our corporate clients in labor cases and assist in the termination procedure of sensitive cases. For clients with foreign employees, we handle visa registrations for employment visas, Special Investor Residence Visa (SIRV), and marriage visas to foreigners married to Filipino citizens. For corporations and individuals who want to acquire property in the Philippines, we handle acquisition of property, including all documentation, payment of taxes and transfer of title.
