Mission: veTcave is dedicated to empowering veterans struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to reintegrate into family and social life, embarking on a journey of Post-Traumatic Growth. Our core values—Identity, Purpose, and Community—guide our efforts as we undertake the following initiatives: 1. Raising Public Awareness- We strive to raise public awareness about Veteran PTSD, shedding light on the challenges faced by those who've served. Building a Support Network- We are committed to developing a robust network of organizations focused on assisting Veterans, fostering collaboration and support within the community. Community Engagement- Through initiatives like #veteranshelpingveterans nonprofit coalition, we engage the community in giving back to those who've served, promoting a culture of support and solidarity. veTcave on Deck- Our veTcave on Deck initiative advocates for veterans' mental health in the workplace. Through veteran and corporate leadership workshops facilitated by licensed professionals, we aim to raise awareness about post-traumatic stress, equip leaders with strategies to leverage veterans' valuable skills, and connect veterans with nonprofit resources available in the community. veTcave on Deck Topics Include- Mental Health: Post-Traumatic Stress Post-Service - Leadership Training: Maximizing Veteran Skills in the Workplace - Human Interaction and De-escalation Training - Introduction to Local Veteran Nonprofits - Veteran Benefits and the VA Additionally, veTcave offers a unique value proposition, including military veteran life coaching focused on trauma, corporate team-building activities such as "build a cave," and inspiring stories of post-traumatic growth captured on film.
