Veterinary Purchasing was formed in 1972 with the key, simple purpose of delivering products and supplies in a timely and economical manner to Ontario veterinarians. We are a shareholder-owned company and our shares are owned by only licensed veterinarians who own an accredited facility in Ontario. Currently, the operation is run out of a sq. ft. warehouse, divided into 7 distinct zones that are organized by product groupings. Picking, packing and shipment of pharmaceuticals, pet food, supplies, clinic supplies, and much more, is streamlined for efficient service via bar coded bin cards, terminals with bar code scanners, and an automated computerized conveyer system. On our busiest days we ship approximately 1,200 orders and 11,200 pieces!
