At Vets for Compassion, we believe every life matters, whether it’s a pet, farm animal, or native wildlife. Our team of dedicated volunteer veterinary professionals provide hands-on medical care, emergency response, and community education to improve animal welfare across Australia and beyond. Founded by veterinarians driven by compassion and collaboration, VFC works on the frontlines of animal rescue, from bushfire zones and natural disasters to remote community outreach and international animal welfare initiatives. We also work to empower the next generation of veterinary and rescue professionals through training, mentoring, and volunteer opportunities, ensuring compassionate care reaches those who need it most. As a volunteer-based not-for-profit, our impact is powered by people, veterinarians, vet nurses, wildlife rescuers, drone pilots, tree climbers and a support team who believe in creating a kinder world for all animals. Our Mission: To relieve animal suffering, protect wildlife, and build a more compassionate community through skilled veterinary care and collaboration.
