Vfarms

Founded in 2021, and located in Doha, Qatar, VFarms is a controlled environment agriculture (CEA) company that produces and distributes high-tech indoor cultivation facilities equipped with autonomous water supply generators and solar panels to grow crops, vegetables, mushrooms, berries, and fodder. As a company with an ethos rooted in sustainability, social, and governance principles, VFarms helps food and agriculture companies build reliable, climate resilient, and eco-friendly food and water systems, governmental and non-governmental humanitarian organizations better address onset emergencies related to food assistance, and remote communities have access to healthy food supplies. As of May 2023, VFarms has self-funded a successful prototype to demonstrate proof of concept and is in the process of working towards commercialization and wider product application.
