Via International is pleased to announce the Via Cafe, a virtual cafe for people wanting to connect across borders. At Via Cafe you can stop in to learn what’s happening in the lives of people along and across the US-Mexico border. It’s also a place where you can directly support community leaders and organizers who are working on the front lines in Tijuana, Mexico. At Via Cafe you can connect across the border through: VIA MIGRANTE, our program supporting small businesses sustaining their own work by responding to urgent needs at migrant shelters in Tijuana ESCUELA AMISTAD, our online language school for practicing real-life conversations in Spanish VIA VOICES, our weekly online interview with changemakers from along and across the border VIA COFFEE, our Mexican partner selling coffee products, all proceeds supporting microenterprise south of the border, and the ongoing work of Via International.
