Via Verde Winery

VIA VERDE is a Bulgarian wine brand, featuring boutique wines from the Valley of Struma River. It started as a family project in late 2013, inspired by the philosophy of a complete way of life and the pursuit of self-realization, achieving a balance with nature. Today, several years later, VIA VERDE presents high-quality wines from local and international grape varieties grown in own vineyards. Currently the vineyards are about 200 acres located in the hills near Levunovo and Ilindentsi villages in Southwestern Bulgaria.Our vines are young of the age between 7 and 12 years old and include classic varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Muscat Ottonel, and the iconic for the area 55 Melnik, Sandanski Misket and Keratsuda. With the expansion of the vineyards VIA VERDE are planning to introduce new and not typical for the area red and white varieties. VIA VERDE's mission is to produce elegant and harmonious wines which have their own character and reveal the potential of the unique terroir in a modern and engaging way. Each wine in the portfolio of VIA VERDE is a small batch of bottles from carefully selected grapes and high-quality raw material that provide a fascinating "experience in a bottle".
