Vicfold Recyclers

Vicfold Recyclers is an incentive motivated waste recycling social enterprise that help households capture value from day to day waste while empowering unemployed women and youths especially in poor communities and raising manufacturers profitability by over 70% through the conversion of the recyclable waste to high grade cost efficient raw materials – recycled plastic resins and flakes. Simply put we give Taste to Waste. Using an engaging approach tagged “Reward4Waste”, Vicfold Recyclers comes onboard with a model to collect recyclable waste through our door to door collection model that employs youths as waste interceptors and award green points to individual recyclers through our e-Recycle app which aggregate rewards and notify subscribers via SMS of their accrued green points. These reward points when accrued are redeemable for food items, small electronic appliances, call vouchers and even cash rewards. Collected recyclables are taken to our Material Processing Center for conversion into useable raw materials and sold to manufacturing industries like manufacturers of shopping bags, synthetic fibers, household plastics etc.
