Vicinus

Vicinus empowers young people to get involved with community action, research, and education initiatives. Vicinus is an organised group of young people who create fundraisers, educational content, and awareness projects regarding various humanitarian issues. The HAP’s objectives are: • To improve the conditions of refugee camps and increase aid to refugees. • To collect donations (both monetary and material items) for children across the island. • To raise funds for women that are suffering from domestic abuse, in need of sanitary and hygiene products, health treatment, clothing and other material items or services. • To raise awareness and educate on refugee and migrant issues, women’s rights, and child rights issues
