Vickery Studio practices custom residential, mixed use/commercial, and thematic/hospitality architecture and design. Prior to receiving his professional license, as an architectural designer and illustrator for various regional firms Darren Vickery RA/NCARB has always utilized his strong creative, 3-d visualization & graphic abilities to create designs and communicate design ideas graphically and efficiently in the conceptual design phase. With a technical background as a licensed architect, Mr. Vickery relies on his experience combined with his design and graphic abilities to create sensible & realistic designs, which also look great. Despite the capabilities of the computer, which we utilize in every project as they develop, there is still much value in the seemingly dying art of great and accurate hand sketches, which is a very important part of our design process.
