Ian Burgoyne Estate Agents started as a business in Gweru in 1976. Eleven years later, in 1987, the Gweru Branch was sold to CC Sales and the Burgoynes transferred their business to Marondera where they operated until 2004. Since then, the Agency has operated in Hilton, KZN, South Africa. In 2020, Ian Burgoyne Estate Agents returned to operate in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Ian Burgoyne, the principal, is a fellow of the Estate Agents Institute and the family company, Burwill Safaris, is the compensation fund holder. The Victoria Falls Properties brand will be used synonymously with the Ian Burgoyne Estate Agents brand to give more traction and relevance to the location, as this is the first registered estate agency dedicated to Victoria Falls.
