Vijay Krida Mandal (VKM), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), was established in the year 1979. The organization initially focused on providing a platform for budding sports enthusiasts. Overwhelmed by the response from the community, the organization started scaling up by setting up a Balwadi (Nursery) in the year 1987. Over the last two decades VKM has been working proactively in the area of providing services to many communities both in Mumbai suburbs and in select districts of Maharashtra by organizing medical camps and addressing the issue of HIV-AIDS.
