VIKAN SVEIS AS is a mechanical workshop with 35 employees. The company has its own premises in Vikan, about 15 km from Bodø City Center. Components for industry are produced here, repairs are carried out on all types of machinery and equipment, and steel structures are produced for construction and civil engineering. In addition, large work assignments are performed at various customers. The workshop hall is equipped with an extensive amount of equipment, such as overhead cranes lathes, computer-controlled cutting tables for steel and aluminum. Cutting machines, breakers and rolling equipment for large dimensions as well as a wide range of welding equipment. The company has 4 wheel loaders, and also disposes of 70/80/90/140 ton mobile cranes, trucks and dump trucks through the sister company Vika Transport AS. The company has central approval, is approved as a specialist company, with a certificate for certification of overhead cranes, excavators, wheel loaders, as well as all types of lifting equipment. The company has a certificate in accordance with NS-EN 1090 for production and assembly of CE-marked steel structures, as well as welding certificates for such work.
