Vineyard 28
Pioneers in Geographe, Western Australia Vineyard 28 is known for growing northern Italian grape varieties, Pignoletto, Arneis, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo. A chance meeting with a well known WA wine producer introduced us to the joys of Nebbiolo in the mid 90’s, and there began the Vineyard 28 journey. 25 years later, our wines are made from the vines we grow and manage, at our Vineyard 28 and Wildwater vineyards. The emphasis is on producing wines that showcase the best of each varietal, reflect their terroir and pair well with food. Vineyard 28 is named for a cheeky green parrot, more commonly known here in Western Australia as the ‘28’. These birds love to eat grapes with as much passion as we love to make our wines.
