Owners of collectible and investment quality wines have no efficient way to establish, verify and demonstrate that their wines have been properly acquired, transported, stored and handled so as to maximize and protect their quality and/or monetary value. Vinofide provides a solution, through electronic documentation (database) by authenticating wine provenance to which any wine owner or buyer can subscribe. For either new or existing wines, beginning with procurement and continuing through the distribution chain, provenance is tracked from the point of origin to the ultimate consumer. Vinofide will not indicate that a wine is counterfeit but it will document that a wine is real.
