Virginia Winup Chapter

The Women's International Network of Utility Professionals is an organization providing a link for developing and recognizing professionals involved with utility business trends, issues, products, and services. The Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) was founded in 1923 — known then as the Electrical Women’s Round Table — by women for women. We exist to professionally and personally support our members in the utility business. WiNUP members come from varying utilities (including investor-owned, municipal, natural gas, electric cooperatives and others) and perform all types of jobs within the utility industry. The Virginia Chapter's Objectives are specifically geared to provide: · Opportunities for professional development of members · Network and mentoring among members · Recognition and visibility for members and business partners · Providing mentoring opportunities between professional women and local colleges WiNUP is a professional organization committed to fostering an inclusive business environment for members and guests. Our mission does not support any particular political or religious view and we refrain from actions that create a non-inclusive environment.
