Viridian Consulting Engineers Ltd launched in Salford in July 2010, offering expert Engineering Services design solutions and sustainability advice for the built environment. Now operating from our offices in Central Manchester, Viridian (which is Latin for a shade of green) are keen to assist building managers, developers, contractors and businesses alike in addressing carbon reduction and global climate issues. Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions to reduce energy use and associated carbon footprints and ultimately reducing energy bills for the end user. Viridian’s Engineers have vast experience in designing user friendly and energy efficient installations to ensure comfort conditions. We use advanced dynamic software packages to calculate energy usage, daylight levels, etc, in order to achieve the optimum design for each installation in terms of user comfort and cost in use, whilst working within the constraints of the agreed budget.
