Visible Stories is a social-impact, story-centered video production service that specializes in increasing the visibility of real stories from real people as a means for dissolving barriers and creating connections that can lead to personal and collective transformations. Visible Stories offers specialized storytelling programming, workshops, and trainings for nonprofits, activist groups, schools, and individuals. Katie Gay is the founder of Visible Stories. She offers a unique combination storytelling programming and video production that guides participants through a process of unearthing and owning their personal stories and then provides an outlet for sharing those stories as a way of increasing consciousness around what it means to be human. We all have stories to tell. Listening to stories and sharing stories is an ancient and cherished aspect of being human. Visible Stories believes that through the power of deep listening and sharing we can begin to dissolve barriers between us and come into genuine contact with each other. In this place of contact there lies a deep well that offers the potential for healing and growth; as individuals, as communities, and as a planet. Through the combined power of storytelling and film, Visible Stories seeks to change the dominant narrative of who we are as people.
