VisionMetric specialises in the development of facial identification software products and trains international police and security forces in their effective use. Used by 90% of British Police forces and also in over thirty other countries worldwide, we are proud of the special role our products and training play to help them to provide their service to the public. The company span-out from the University of Kent physics department in 1998 and its offices are located within the beautiful city of Canterbury. The founders have received a number of UK and European awards for technology innovation and commercialisation of academic research and maintain strong R&D activity.
