Visit Tamar Valley

Visit Tamar Valley is the official Destination Marketing Organisation for the Tamar Valley and exists to support tourism and hospitality businesses, and local partners, and to increase visitor numbers and spend in this gorgeous part of the southwest that bridges Devon and Cornwall. Our aim is: To raise awareness of the Tamar Valley as a not to be missed destination for short breaks. Educate visitors about the Valley's unspoilt beauty, wide open spaces, and diverse landscape. To promote a huge choice of accommodations, dining, and a vast array of activities, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Demonstrate the Valley's prime position as an ideal base for exploring the wider southwest. Formerly known as We Love the Tamar Valley, the Association was established some twenty years ago and together with the Tamar Valley AONB provided business support and networking to small hospitality and tourism businesses in the Tamar Valley. In 2019, we began the transition to become the official Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) for the Tamar Valley with a much sharper focus on destination marketing. At the same time we rebranded and launched a brand-new destination marketing website that launched in February 2021.
