Vista Pop is a research and relationship driven production company led by James Christenson. A network of directors and writers, DPs and grips, sound editors and composers, our project-specific teams have worked with brand directors, campaign managers, entrepreneurs, film auteurs, TV directors and journalists to deliver from concept to press coverage sophisticated motion pictures in the new media environment, where video dominates advertising and filmmaking expertise takes a central role in public life. Our motion pictures have landed on the front page of the New York Times and the Atlantic. They've screened at festivals like BAM and HotDocs, far-away indie film showcases like Sofia Independent (Bulgaria) and Americana (Barcelona, Spain), and heartland institutions like the Plains Art Museum, the Minnesota History Center, and the Walker Art Center Cinema.
