Vita-Activa.org is a non-profit initiative that provides online support via one on one conversations, psychological and digital first aid circles and theme specific task forces (during the occurrence of #Metoo, civil unrests, natural disasters ) for women and LGBTQAI+ journalists, activists, organizers, human and women rights defenders who are facing violence online, harassment, stress and burnout. Our bilingual support -English and Spanish- is confidential, anonymous and free of charge. By providing Psychological First Aid, Digital First Aid, Crisis Management and Strategic Decision Making, we commit to accompany as peers those who are facing online violence in their digital spaces and social media, to support them in violence effect mitigation, to strategically decide how they want to tackle their crisis and to build solutions that work in their particular context.
