VitalColumns.com is an independent media organization committed to bringing you news, articles and analysis vital to formulating a sound insight into our current social, economic and geopolitical reality. The site was borne out of an acute realization that our current media landscape suffers a serious deficit in unbiased platforms. The shortage of news agencies free of political and ideological agendas remains palpable; and not just in mainstream media, but also among alternative outlets as well. VitalColumns aims to mitigate this shortage by delivering objective reporting and analysis without being guided by any political, social, economic or philosophical prejudices. We are a for profit organization. Our goal is to be funded through advertising, syndication, and other traditional funding sources. And because we strongly believe in citizen driven journalism, we accept and greatly appreciate online donations as well. However, we firmly pledge to rejecting any funding sources that attempt to influence what we report on and how we do so. VitalColumns is resolutely committed to total editorial freedom and journalistic integrity.
