Vivid Prosthodontics specializes in reconstructive, implant, and cosmetic dentistry as well as facial rejuvenation. We are located in downtown Edmonton in the First Edmonton Place Building on Jasper Avenue. Our dedicated, Board-Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics, Dr. Arif Sumar, ensures that the highest quality care is provided to each and every one of our patients. There are nine dental specialties recognized by the Canadian Dental Association and the American Dental Association; Prosthodontics being one of them. It is the only specialty dedicated to aesthetic, reconstructive, and implant dentistry. Prosthodontists have three years of additional training beyond that of General Dentists in areas of cosmetic and restorative dentistry that includes: crowns, bridges, dentures, dental implants, veneers, dental and facial birth and developmental defects, trauma, and temporomandibular joint dysfunctions. Prosthodontists are also highly trained in the technical aspects of laboratory fabrication of complex dental prosthetics and complex restoration of dental and facial aesthetics. Through the combination of art and science, our experienced clinicians and technicians utilize the newest technology to create exceptionally beautiful smiles. Though many of our patients are referred to our office by general dentists or other specialists, we would be more than happy to consult with patients without a referral as well.
