Voetbal is Kunst is een toegepast kunst- project waarbij ontwerpster Ellen Janssen de sport voetbal onder de aandacht wil brengen. Voetbal is mooi, leuk en eigenlijk een kunst. Iets wat echt bij Nederland hoort. Dat moeten we vooral koesteren. Om deze reden heeft ze een serie voetballen ontworpen waarin dit tot uiting komt. De eerste bal die wordt gelanceerd is een hoogglanzende witte voetbal voorzien van Delfts blauwe motieven. Dit benadrukt de kwetsbaarheid van voetbal en heeft daarnaast een oer-Hollands karakter. Ook de andere ballen komen echt van Hollandse bodem.
