Voice by Drina. Professional Voiceover Artist. An unusual name, yes, but one that’s backed by a versatile voice. Whether you need voice-over services for narration or commercial spots, I’ll deliver an on-the-mark read. I’ve always been told that I have a voice that carries, that gets attention. In high school, it earned me a state championship in dramatic reading. In adult life, it has facilitated public speaking opportunities through work and volunteer pursuits. Behind the voice is a sensitivity to the power of words and the connotations that verbal expression can bring to them. That’s where a degree in English from Smith College actually comes in handy. And having a background in writing and public relations for both the corporate and nonprofit sectors gives me the ability to understand things from the client’s perspective. I’ve learned to take direction and to adapt my readings to the material through extensive professional VO training with Rob Holt and the team of instructors at the Voice Box.
