Voltage Volunteering

When a mission moves you to action, we believe your energy should go toward the purpose rather than the process. Founded in 2020, Voltage Volunteering aims to revamp the outdated software infrastructure used to organize community service. We want organization staff to be able to concentrate their energy and their volunteers' energy on mission-focused work rather than administrative minutiae. VV’s fully-integrated suite of volunteer recruiting and management tools stands apart from existing systems that breed data silos, creating unnecessary data entry and reporting work for volunteer administrators. VV's software also addresses a number of procedural barriers that disproportionately affect underrepresented groups' ability to volunteer. By supporting increased diversity within volunteer programs, we can simultaneously boost empathy in service delivery and provide more equitable access to the personal and professional development opportunities afforded to volunteers themselves.
