Voluntaire

Our team was deeply shocked by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and started to mobilize teams to support Ukrainians in any way we can. We identified a very pressing, problem space: support organizations are struggling to manage the sudden influx of large amounts of Ukrainian refugees to European countries. Local organizations told us, they are overwhelmed both with the refugee influx, and with the vast amount of volunteers offering their help. Currently, the volunteer-refugee matching happens manually - through phone or e-mail. We want to streamline this process by building a marketplace that matches local organizations and volunteers for Ukrainian refugees.
