Volunteering Queensland (VQ) is the state peak body solely dedicated to advancing volunteering for the economic, social, cultural & environmental well-being of Queensland. Whether you're a volunteer looking for a role, a volunteer manager looking for support or a volunteer-involving organisation wanting to post volunteer opportunities to our audience, we're here just for you. VQ proudly supports over 300 member organisations in volunteer best practice, provides research, policy and advisory services, delivers accredited and non-accredited training programs in Cert I, II and as well as professional development, manages a Corporate Volunteering service and co-ordinates the emergency volunteer response workforce for many councils around the State, including Brisbane's Mud and Care Armies. Volunteering Queensland is proud to host the annual Queensland Volunteering Awards, Homeless Connect, National Student Volunteer Week and many more initiatives.
