Volunteers Together

Volunteers Together was founded in 2003 and has since helped hundreds of underprivileged families become self-sufficient. Following the explosion at the Beirut Ports, our focus has shifted towards helping those who have been affected by the explosion. Volunteers Together is a non-governmental organization dedicated to working with underprivileged families, helping them to become self-sufficient and to ensure their right to live in dignity. Founded in 2003, Volunteers Together aims at generating resources through fundraising initiatives and community partnerships. It uses the funds to transform communities by making a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged families in order to reduce suffering and premature death and to improve lives and livelihoods for people living in extreme poverty. Volunteers Together aims at breaking barriers so that underprivileged families have equal access to basic social services including education, health care, employment assistance, and care for the elderly. The organisation also aids in finding safe housing, equipped with proper sanitation features for families in need. Today, due to the tragic event that has shaken our beloved Beirut, Volunteers Together is asking for donations of time or money that will help in rebuilding and restoring our city. All contributions, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated. Remember, it is not the amount of time or money you give, but how much you give of yourself.
