Volya Films

Volya Films is a Rotterdam based production company producing author fiction films, creative documentaries and experimental movies. The company develops projects with both young as well as more experienced filmmakers by offering them active support. Volya Films also develops European and international co-productions. These productions have premiered in most of the major film festivals in Europe such as IDFA, Berlinale, Cannes, Rotterdam Film Festival and Cinema du Reel. Recent films include: Prisoners of the Ground by Stella van Voorst van Beest (Closing Night Film - Netherlands Film Festival 2009) and Double Take by Johan Grimonprez (World Premiere at Berlinale 2009).
