VOMODO, Inc. is a start-up company focused on the development, production, and leasing of its proprietary hardware and software mobile broadcast technology for national and international media companies, governmental (city, county, state) fire and safety organizations, and the military. VOMODO SplitSolid™ Technology is a mobile broadcast device that can be used anywhere, anytime to transmit broadcast quality signals from a standard video camera, for live broadcast on television or for live Internet streaming. Using our proprietary technology, the VOMODO team has miniaturized the remote truck and placed it in a small backpack. A cameraperson can comfortably wear the backpack for many hours while the device uplinks live broadcast quality video for two hours without a battery change. Batteries can be hot swapped for uninterrupted live broadcasting. VOMODO technology will work almost anywhere with little user interaction. VOMODO SplitSolid™ Technology continues to function while in motion, be it walking twenty blocks in New York City or driving down the interstate in eastern Washington. This device will have global broadcast applications and will eventually be viable for consumer use in later models.
