Wuhan VSD Medical Science & Technology Co, Ltd. is founded in 2005 with the headquarter in Wuhan, China, where visitors will find a vibrant atmosphere of manufacturing, sales, medical research and development and surgeon collaboration. With the biggest negative pressure wound therapy manufacturing site in Asia, 4 subordinate offices in China, VSD is committed to providing safe, affordable, effective and innovative wounds healing solutions to all healthcare professionals and patients. As the pioneer and leader of NPWT technology in China, VSD continues to strive for further development through R&D and academic cooperation. By working with hospitals nationwide, 20 VSD trauma research centers and 12 burning research centers are established. A Tissue Regeneration and Prosthetics Laboratory is built with Oxford University, UK, which significantly facilitates academic communication and cooperation with overseas medical community. Such partnerships have yielded great achievements and helped VSD to identify and better address the unmet clinical needs responsively and efficiently. Over the past years, VSD has won numerous awards and honors for its outstanding performance: top 1 surgical project of “100 Programs in 10 Years” chaired by national Ministry of Health; champion of “Innovation China” contest; second runner up of “China Innovation & Entrepreneurship” competition organized by China Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Education.
