Tightly focused on BVLOS applications, our target markets where we have strategic solution delivery partnerships, combined with a clear competitive advantage delivered through increased range & endurance, as well as improved platform maneuverability & gust-resistance and the capability to readily launch and recover the VTOL Flying Wing from moving ground-based platforms (vehicles, ships, trains, etc.), VTOL Technologies is a technology developer right at the forefront of drone innovation. Our iconic hybrid VTOL Flying Wing drone architecture enables us to operate with a range that is up to 6 times that achievable for an equivalent multi-rotor drone whilst still being able to take-off and land vertically. Using the natural lift provided by hovering into wind, we can reduce hover power consumption, unlike multi-rotor drones, and our thrust-vectoring propulsion units provide exceptional maneuverability including rapid acceleration and deceleration, essential when operating at very low heights above ground level for crop-spraying and mine detection applications, for example. Additionally, the unique design lends itself to the ready integration of payloads, managing the complexities of weight distribution and installation of device drivers, to meet specific industry requirements. We have and continue to work with industry pioneers, government market developers and research institutes including universities. Combined with our unique technology and through these strategic partnerships, we expect to be first to market, in the delivery of operational, industrial BVLOS drones and hope to establish the VTOL Technologies brand as the global leader in BVLOS drone systems for very low altitude (<400’) operations.
