Vuurvrouw

Vuurvrouw Foundation is the advocacy organization for women in menopause, affiliated with the Dutch Patient Federation. We actively collaborate with doctors and medical specialists in the field of women's health and regularly participate in scientific research. This is necessary, because a good diagnosis and optimal treatment will support women going through menopause in a healthy way. Everyone benefits from that. Vuurvrouw Werkt Vuurvrouw Werkt is a separate organisation and we provide advice, workshops and training to anyone who is interested in the influence of menopause on work. We understand the social and financial importance of sustainable functionality of women in menopause. We help women to stay in control during this phase of life. In addition, we support employers in the development towards a 'Menopause Friendly Organization' with practical tools. In doing so, we advise organizations in the Netherlands on policy and implementation on themes such as vitality and absenteeism. We also do this in collaboration with the social partners. Together we communicate under the Vuurvrouw name. Our wish for the future is that every woman can flourish during this phase of their life. And that she is not hindered in her vitality, ambition and joy of life.
