Based in Duluth, GA, Vystar® Corporation is a publicly traded biotechnology company and the creator of Vytex® Natural Rubber Latex (NRL), an innovative raw material that can be used in more than the different latex applications. A patented green production process removes the antigenic proteins found in natural rubber latex that results in Vytex NRL. It was designed to be easily integrated into manufacturing operations that currently use NRL or synthetic substitutes. Vytex NLR is real latex – just without many of the allergy causing proteins. Vytex NRL also meets ASTM 1076 D category 5 classification, with a non-rubber content about 75% less than traditional natural rubber latex.
