The acquisition will introduce a new Video Conferencing line of business to Cequens’ existing Messaging and Voice lines and leverage the three new lines of messaging, video, and voice to offer businesses the full spectrum of universal communications. Vytru’s product lineup includes the RVC, EVC, and KVC series that extend Lync/Office 365/Skype for Business to conference rooms, executive offices, and Self-Service Stations respectively, in addition to Web Chat Widget that allows businesses to seamlessly interact real-time with their website visitors using nothing more than a Skype for Business client on agent’s computers. The free-to-try Contacts Manager application allows businesses to centrally create, manage and push several Skype for Business contact lists to all employees, saving time and increasing return on investment of their Lync deployments. In a little over a year, the 20 person startup was able to attract interest from companies including AT & T, Microsoft, HP, DHL, Novartis, BP, and Capital One with their Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business productivity extensions.
