The Western Australian Biomedical Engineering Society (BES) is an organisation run by passionate, transdisciplinary and diverse young professionals aiming to promote and accelerate medical innovation in Perth. BES believes in the power of engineering, medicine and science in creating a healthier world and strongly advocates for WA to be a global leader in medical innovation. We are constantly working towards our mission through initiatives aiming to establish and connect the medical innovation ecosystem in Perth. BES is supported by The University of Western Australia, Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub, Perth Biodesign, BioZone and our excellent board of directors.
