Our company a member of Wah Tung Group was established in 1971. It was first known as Wah Tung Agencies, which began as an outfit of 3 staff operation within a modest rented office lot in the centre of Miri, Sarawak. From its humble beginnings issuing mainly air tickets, Wah Tung Agencies was famed for providing as general sales agent by the UTA French Airlines for the state of Sarawak. The company’s name was subsequently changed to ‘Wah Tung Travel’. Over the years, Wah Tung Travel has grown from strength to strength, and our head office in Miri are now housed in our own office building, staffed by a team of professional staff and supported by the world leading airlines and computerized reservation system. Wah Tung Travel is an ‘IATA-BSP accredited agent’ and recognized as ‘preferred agent’ by major airlines. We are now offers an extensive array of travel products and related lifestyles services including air tickets, accommodation as well as inbound and outbound tours for both leisure and corporate sectors. The travel trade has regarded Wah Tung Travel as “the voice of the industry and Sarawak’s premier travel operators”.
