A film industry native, she cofounded MidSummer Productions, a company dedicated to telling high-concept, spiritual based films, centering BIPOC voices. A fashion enthusiast, Serena is a content creator & influencer, sharing her musings, latest fashion finds, and modeling for brands she loves. Hula hooping has been a lifelong practice of connection, play, and pure joy. Waist-Werq has gifted Serena the platform to share this beloved skill in a fantastical yet grounded and accessible way with audiences. Providing opportunities for people of all walks of life, to let down their walls and indulge in play and a sense of freedom, brings a deep layer of purpose to Serena’s work. As the current Chief Operating Officer at Pattron, Ama excels in IT infrastructure. Her professional journey extends beyond IT, embracing roles as a keynote speaker, ambassador, and most importantly, a passionate hula hooper. Ama has woven creativity, play, and empowerment into every facet of her work. Waist Werq was born from her vision to blend business, movement, and play into a cohesive and vibrant space. Through Waist Werq, Ama continues to inspire and energize communities, proving that work can be both productive and joyful.
