We work closely with our Unions’ representatives at national, regional and local levels, to discuss cases and legislation. We provide training to Union officials and branch representatives on legal aspects. You’ll see Walkers Union active at national level too, supporting Unions, on marches and demos, at conferences and lobbying MPs. We are a Union organised workplace. We encourage our staff to join a Union, and support them when they attend Union training. We have members on local area activist committees, risk committees and regional committees. We have a local councillor (and leader of the Labour group) Justin Madders, and help Assembly Ministers and MPs to get elected.
