Walks the TalK is passionate about working with you to create a match between what your organisation says and what it does in relation to the experience your employees have of working with you. As a Board / senior leadership team, setting your strategy and resultant goals is the relatively easy part. Getting everyone else if your organisation to ‘live and breathe’ it consistently is much harder. You can of course do it yourselves but for real success, you are reliant on the majority of leaders and managers at every level to bring your culture to life and deliver your strategic aims. And in today's workplaces, these are typically the people who are under the most pressure (Barry Oshry's famously 'squashed middles'). We believe that wellbeing is the bedrock of being able to 'walk the talk'. If someone has low or declining wellbeing, they simply can't be at their best for you, and their capacity to function and perform will be impacted by that. When the people with compromised wellbeing are the leaders and managers you are relying on to deliver your strategy, that's a cause for concern. Our focus is on coaching your organisation to help you achieve this through: 1) Being a coach and sounding board for those with the responsibility to set and deliver on your people aspirations. 2) Coaching your leaders and managers to 'walk your talk' in a way that is congruent with their own values and way of working. This can happen 1-1 or in groups, depending on needs. 3) Helping develop understanding across your business about the strong correlation between pressure, wellbeing and business performance. This is done through interactive workshops or educational webinars. We have a wealth of experience in organisational change, leadership development and coaching, as well as lived experience of burnout and what it takes to recover from that / prevent it returning.
