Walnut Robotics The Aluminati

Walnut Robotics, also known as The Aluminati, is an independently student-run robotics team comprised of students from Walnut High School. We were formed under the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) Charitable Foundation as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a 9th-year team competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). FIRST, For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, was founded in 1989 as an organization to promote STEM in today’s youth. More notably, FIRST encourages cooperative competition and gracious professionalism, instilling well-rounded life skills into students. The FIRST Tech Challenge is a high school level worldwide robotics competition, featuring some of the top schools from across the globe. Teams must design, build, and program a robot by applying math, science, and engineering concepts.
