Wamego Public Library

The Wamego Public Library is located at 431 Lincoln Ave, on the corner of 5th and Lincoln, in Wamego, KS. The library has over items available to borrowers, including books, large print books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, videos and DVDs. The library is a member of the North Central Kansas Library System and participates in the Kansas Interlibrary Loan System, enabling patron access to materials throughout Kansas. The main floor of the library includes the adult and teen collections, the Kansas collection, reference materials, and quiet reading room. Additional services include 8 computers for public internet access, free wi-fi within the library, fax and copy services, microfilm machine and local newspapers on microfilm from 1867 to present. The children's department and an on-going used book sale are both located on the lower level. Wamego Public Library offers a variety of free programs for all ages, including an adult book club, teen programs, after school activities, weekly preschool and toddler storytimes, and a summer reading program.
